Somersault & Twisting Camp - Summer 2026 (6 - 16yrs)

⭐ Somersault & Twisting Development Camp ⭐️ Join us for a focused session dedicated to Somersault Development. Gymnasts will be grouped by age and ability, working on front and/or back somersaults depending on their previous experience. The session will include a range of progressions and apparatus stations designed to support learning the full skill, while more advanced gymnasts will have stations aimed at developing technique, shape, twisting and multiple somersaults. ⭐️ Who Can Attend - Gymnasts must be aged 6+, or younger if they currently train in an SGA development group 2+ times per week, and must meet the camp requirements. ⭐️ Minimum Skills Required - Gymnasts should be able to perform: - A rebound jump on a Trampette or springboard - A forward roll and backward roll. If you’re unsure whether this session is suitable, please speak to an SGA coach or email info@scarboroughgymnastics.co.uk for guidance. Please Note: Attendance does not guarantee that gymnasts will complete a full somersault by the end of the camp. Join us for a session focusing specifically on Cartwheel & Roundoff Development. Gymnasts will work on different progressions and apparatus stations to work towards learning and / improving on or perfecting the final skill. Please note, attendance does not guarantee that gymnasts will be able to perform the final skill at the end of the camp however gymnasts will learn valuable skills which will aid future development and have lots of fun. ⭐️ Important Information ⭐️ ⭐️ Age Requirements Gymnasts must be at least 5 years old (or turning 5 before the end of August) and entering Year 1 in September. ⭐️ Booking & Payment •⁠ ⁠Payment is required at the time of booking, or within 24 hours if paying by cash. •⁠ ⁠Bookings are not secured until payment is received. •⁠ ⁠Unpaid bookings will be removed from the system. ⭐️ Parking - The car park can get very busy. Backflip Development Camp - Summer 2026 (7 - 16yrs)

⭐️ Join us for a dedicated session focusing specifically on Backflip Development. Gymnasts will work through a range of progressions and apparatus stations designed to support safe, effective learning of the backflip. ⭐️ Gymnasts must be aged 7+, or younger if they currently train in an SGA development group 2+ times per week. ⭐️ To attend, gymnasts should be able to perform: A strong handstand A bridge kickover from the floor or a raised surface If you are unsure whether this camp is suitable for your child, please speak to a member of the SGA coaching team or email info@scarboroughgymnastics.co.uk ⭐️ Please note that attendance does not guarantee gymnasts will complete a full backflip by the end of the camp. Gymnasts will work through a series of progressions and apparatus stations designed to help them build the strength, flexibility and technique needed to work towards the full skills. ⭐️ Gymnasts must be aged 6+ and be able to perform a handstand and hold a strong bridge. Twinkles Pre School Parent & Child Camp Summer 2026 (2 - 4.9yrs)

The Twinkles Pre School gymnastics class is suitable for boys & girls from 2 - 4 years (Gymnasts can be younger if already attending the SGA Twinkles programme) How the class runs: Sessions lasting 45 minutes begin with one parent / carer and the gymnast participating in a warm up, hand apparatus session and then movement to music together. It is then time to enjoy the challenges of the large apparatus with the help of one parent / carer. Finally the session finishes with a cool down activity. Classes are designed to further aid a child's concentration, confidence, strength, flexibility, co-ordination & motor control skill and prepares the framework for all sports in an environment that's FUN! The allocated class times allow for the entrance & exit of the gymnasts. ⭐️ Important Information ⭐️ ⭐️ Age Requirements Gymnasts must be at least 2 years old (Gymnasts can be younger if already attending the SGA Twinkles programme) ⭐️ Booking & Payment - Payment is required at the time of booking, or within 24 hours if paying by cash. - Bookings are not secured until payment is received. - Unpaid bookings will be removed from the system. ⭐️ Parking - The car park can get very busy. Gymnasts and supervising parents will enter the through the entrance & after the session leaves through the exit door. If you need to leave the gym at any point during the session please inform a coach so we can ensure the door is locked after you leave. ⭐️ Unfortunately we do not have space for any pushchairs inside the building. ⭐️ Remember to bring a drink. (No fizzy drinks) ⭐️ Gymnasts to wear sliders / crocs / slip on shoes / boots which are easy to put on / take off to help speed up entry / exit. ⭐️ Please wear long hair tied back and comfy close fitting clothes which are easy to move in e.g. Leggings & T-shirt / Vest top or a Leotard (please do not wear leotards with a skirt attached). No buttons / Buckles or Zips on gymnasts clothing, also no earrings or jewellery to be worn. ⭐️ If your gymnast has just had their ears pierced they must be taped over in advance of the session using own tape (unfortunately the club cannot supply tape from our first aid kit). Once the 6 week period is over earrings must be removed to comply with British gymnastics policy. All gymnasts will be working towards an SGA Star Award, a British Gymnastics Powerpuff Award or a British Gymnastics Trampoline Award. Please note: This camp does not include the new SGA Advanced Awards. ⭐️ Every gymnast will receive a proficiency badge and certificate, presented at the end of the session. Twinkles Pre School Parent & Child Camp Summer 2026 (2 - 4.9yrs)

The Twinkles Pre School gymnastics class is suitable for boys & girls from 2 - 4 years (Gymnasts can be younger if already attending the SGA Twinkles programme) How the class runs: Sessions lasting 45 minutes begin with one parent / carer and the gymnast participating in a warm up, hand apparatus session and then movement to music together. It is then time to enjoy the challenges of the large apparatus with the help of one parent / carer. Finally the session finishes with a cool down activity. Classes are designed to further aid a child's concentration, confidence, strength, flexibility, co-ordination & motor control skill and prepares the framework for all sports in an environment that's FUN! The allocated class times allow for the entrance & exit of the gymnasts. ⭐️ Important Information ⭐️ ⭐️ Age Requirements Gymnasts must be at least 2 years old (Gymnasts can be younger if already attending the SGA Twinkles programme) ⭐️ Booking & Payment - Payment is required at the time of booking, or within 24 hours if paying by cash. - Bookings are not secured until payment is received. - Unpaid bookings will be removed from the system. ⭐️ Parking - The car park can get very busy. If you need to leave the gym at any point during the session please inform a coach so we can ensure the door is locked after you leave. ⭐️ Unfortunately we do not have space for any pushchairs inside the building. ⭐️ Remember to bring a drink. Olympic Challenge Summer Camp 2026 (5 - 16yrs)

⭐ Become an Olympic Athlete! ⭐️ Gymnasts will take on a range of Men’s and Women’s Olympic apparatus, including Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, Rings and Trampoline. ⭐️ Join us for a dedicated session focusing specifically on Handspring Development. Gymnastics Fun & Pass a Badge - Summer 2026 (5 - 16yrs)

All gymnasts will be working towards an SGA Star Award, a British Gymnastics Powerpuff Award or a British Gymnastics Trampoline Award. Please note: This camp does not include the new SGA Advanced Awards. ⭐️ Every gymnast will receive a proficiency badge and certificate, presented at the end of the session. Foam Pit & Inflatable Fun at SGA - Summer 2026 (5 - 16yrs)

⭐️ Take part in SGA’s structured fun inflatable and foam pit fun session. The gym will be filled with all of SGA's fun gymnastics inflatables and the coaches will run a structured circuit style session using the pits & inflatables (including a warm up and cool down). ⭐️ Big kids and little kids will love tumbling, sliding, leaping and bouncing their away around our fun-filled gym. The foam pit challenge may include pit races, long jumps, leap of faith / trust activities and fun foam block building.
